  • Running plans are delivered through Final Surge (free app) which syncs with most GPS watches. You don't need a fancy watch - the app works on any smartphone. Strength videos require minimal equipment.

  • We offer:

    • Free local volunteer-led chapters for in-person meetups

  • Final Surge is the training platform that allows us to share your running plans with you and helps track your progress. All you have to do is go into the app or FinalSurge.com on a desktop, click the calendar, and see what you have on your training plan for today.

  • Calls are hosted online via Zoom. You can ask questions, get feedback, and learn from other athletes. Recordings are available if you miss a live call.

  • We focus on injury prevention through proper training and strength work. If injuries occur, coaches help modify your plan. We cannot offer refunds, but plans remain in your account for future use.

  • Join our free community at balgcommunity.com to get a feel for our approach. Training Team monthly membership is also a low-risk way to try our full program.

  • Yes! We know that some athletes like a hard copy of their training plan.

  • Your running plan will live in your Final Surge account after you officially finish your plan. To re-use it, you can simply change the race date in Final Surge.

  • All of our team members can switch running plans or levels whenever they’d like. Just fill out the running plan request form in Mighty Networks and give us 2 business days to update your running plan to Final Surge.
