Hi, I’m Samantha! I started my running career at age 19 (now 34) when my sister that’s 9 years older than me wanted to find something fun for us to do together, so we signed up for a 5k! Since then I’ve ran 10 half marathons (all slower than my sister). I’ve struggled finding a run club that would accept my slower pace and even was kicked out of one before- but at BALG I felt completed included and it didn’t matter what my pace was! This year I’ll also be accomplishing my life long dream of running a marathon at Detroit Freep!

Training with BALG is truly catered to every pace and life style (I work 60+ hours and I’m in school) and I didn’t feel overwhelmed while training. 

My favorite part truly is how inclusive they are; and the first time I met the group, running into them at Central Park, everyone was incredibly friendly and I knew I’d found my people! Even the online community is very supportive of each other too!

The 16-Week Fall Half Marathon Training Experience is your go-to guide for tackling 13.1 miles with purpose, support, and expert coaching. Kicking off on August 4, 2025, and running through November 23, this experience is built to help you train smart and stay consistent—whether it’s your first half or you’re chasing a personal best. With a flexible 12-week training plan personalized to your needs, 16 weeks of live coaching calls (Thursdays at 3pm ET/12pm PT), and access to strength training, mental game journals, and a supportive community, you’ll have everything you need to show up confident on race day. This experience is designed to take the guesswork out of training so you can focus on doing the work and enjoying the ride.

From September 22, 2025, to January 18, 2026, this experience is built for anyone preparing for a RunDisney Half Marathon, Marathon, Goofy or Dopey Challenge, or any January race. Whether it’s your first finish line or your next big PR, we’ll handle the plan, the support, and the mental game—so you can focus on showing up one run at a time. With personalized training plans, weekly coaching calls (The first 2 months, Wednesdays at 7pm ET/4pm PT, then it moves to 8pm ET/5pm PT) live strength sessions, and a supportive community, every resource is designed to help you train strong, stay consistent, and enjoy the process—even with a busy schedule. 8-Week 5K & 10K Training Experience

The 8-Week 5K & 10K Training Experience is perfect for runners who want to train for a race, build consistency, or shake things up with a fresh training cycle. From August 4 to September 28, 2025, you’ll follow a customized training plan, join weekly live coaching calls (Thursdays at 2pm ET/11am PT), and get access to a full library of strength, yoga, and mindset support created specifically for runners.
